Custom Plastic Injection Molding of an ABS Enclosure for the Communications Industry

Working from a customer supplied a 2D CAD drawing, LOR-TECH Plastics, LLC fabricated this enclosure from ABS plastic for use within a communications application. Molded in two pieces that fit together to form the enclosure, the final dimensions measured 3.00" x 2.00" x 1.25". We had an existing mold that met the specifications for this enclosure and added the beige coloring to the plastic at the request of the customer. ABS plastic is an appropriate material for an enclosure because of its strength and rigidity.
