Custom Injection Molding of a Polystyrene Component for the Connector Industry

Polystyrene Components At LOR-TECH Plastics, LLC, we have the experience and ability to work with a variety of plastics to manufacture parts to spec. As a direct result of this expertise, a client approached us to fabricate a polystyrene connector component. We created the piece by injection molding natural-clear polystyrene into an existing mold that had a thru hole and a side hole. Designed for use within a connector application, the part measured 1.75" long with an outer diameter of .450". As an additional service, we were contracted to store and maintain the mold at our facility for future use.
