Custom Injection Molding of a Zytel® Nylon Grommet for the Electrical Industry

At LOR-TECH Plastics, LLC, our expertise in a wide variety of plastic injection molding makes us a leader in the industry. It was this expertise that brought a client to us who needed a nylon grommet that was to be incorporated into an electrical application. Made from Zytel®, a member of the nylon family of plastics, this grommet measured 1.50" x .800" x .800" and was colored in a transparent green finish. The design and strength of this nylon grommet offered protection to the wires in the electrical assembly. We used an existing mold for this project that was then cleaned and stored away for future use.
